27 to 29 September 2024 has been officially designated as the date for the 2024 Mandalika MotoGP. Next year will be the 3rd year in a row for this Indonesian MotoGP. And once again it will be hosted on the Mandalika circuit. The Indonesian MotoGP 2024 is part of an Asian triple header schedule, starting with India, then Lombok, and finally Japan.
Mandalika Circuit
Officially named Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, is a racing circuit in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The Indonesian MotoGP was first held here in 2022 and will continue to be hosted every year at least until 2024.
The track with a length of 4.31 km has a total of 17 turns and a capacity of 195,700 spectators. Apart from MotoGP, the Mandalika Circuit also hosts the World Superbike (WSBK), but it’s mostly known for this Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia.
The Mandalika Circuit has met several Grade A requirements for holding Formula 1 racing events. And the government is reportedly considering buying the license. So who knows, maybe F1 will also soon be heading for Lombok.
How to get there
Mandalika MotoGP 2024 is held in a special economic area in Lombok, the Mandalika Project. So you have many ways of getting there. Taxi, bus, online taxi, and also by car or motorbike.
Just like the previous two editions, MotoGP Indonesia 2024 has lots of parking areas spread around the circuit. Actually, even more than previously as they keep expanding. Later you will get a shuttle bus that will take you directly to the circuit.
Usually during certain events like this, many accommodations offer special packages for Mandalika MotoGP 2024. These can include transportation. However, motorbikes are the quickest and easiest to get there.
Ticket
Mandalika MotoGP 2024 tickets are predicted to be sold in the same way as last year. Last year, Mandalika MotoGP 2023 tickets went on sale about 4 months before the MotoGP event. So this year the predictions are around May or June the ticket sale will start.
Tickets are of course sold online via the official MotoGP website, however, some MotoGP tour packages usually also provide pre-order tickets directly with other packages.

What to prepare
First of all, you have to prepare an itinerary. Secure your Mandalika MotoGP tickets and accommodation. Considering that for 2 years in a row, the Mandalika MotoGP audience is increasing, you have to prepare for this well in advance.
