Situated on Lombok's southern shore, offers a serene escape with soft sands and clear waters. Surrounded by rocky cliffs, it's ideal for relaxation and leisurely strolls. This beach with sloping white sand has many large boulders on the coast.
When the water recedes, you will discover the beautiful coral. With high tide, you can venture to snorkel between them and explore the rich marine life. Or during low tide, you can even see them without dipping yourself into the water.

So that was our list of Lombok's best beaches. But, as we mentioned, there are many more to explore on the island. Not all of them, like Tanjung Aan Beach, can make our top 5. Yet these are still several noteworthy beaches. You can read up on why they are not the best.
Pink Beach Lombok
Tangsi Beach, commonly referred to as Pink Beach Lombok, lives up to its name with its distinctive pink sand, a rarity among Lombok's beaches and even among beaches worldwide. Therefore it could be the unique destination you’re looking for during your Lombok honeymoon.
This unique colouration is a result of the blend of white sand grains and pink coral particles, intensified by sunlight refraction and constant interaction with seawater. Plus there are microscopic organisms known as foraminifera. If their reddish-pink shells wash ashore, they blend with the white sand to create a mesmerising pink hue.
Among the world's eight beaches boasting visibly pink sand, Indonesia is home to three such unique wonders. Lombok’s Pink Beach is situated in Sekaroh village, Jerowaru sub-district, in the southern part of East Lombok. You’ll find a serene ambiance with gentle waves.
