The sea route has two choices of ships; fast boats and ferries. A fast boat is recommended because it will only take 1.5 hours and will take you straight to the Gili Islands or Senggigi. The ferry will take at least 4 hours and even up to 6 hours. And eventually, you will arrive in the industrial harbour of Lembar.
Transportation with kids in Lombok
For transportation in Lombok, you can rent a car and motorbike. If you choose a motorbike, try to get one with helmets. Not all rentals offer these. But please encourage children to always use helmets, for the safety and comfort of your holiday in Lombok with kids.
